Today we, whom are among the interested in the digital “service space”, could read the report written with the lead of Olav Lysne and his committee. The topic for report is, “Digital Vulnerabilities in Society”. I really support this effort! The findings from the report I must say is not that surprising but the wording and advice given are in my opinion a great start. Now hopefully the following process will have the same focus, and work with forward thinking solutions and not make this to yet an other political game.
The report summary in English can be found here and gives a high level insight into areas investigated. The topic that for me stands out is for many not that surprising; Use of cryptography should not be regulated. I just say thank you to the smartness and focus on the good sides of cryptography and not so what seems to be the “only solution”, remove so anything can be recorded.
