I do not know how many are interested in traffic development innside countries, but I for one like to have an insight into real numbers to give me an idea on what marketing is about when they talk traffic numbers :-).
If we take a look at The Norwegian Internet Exchange (NIX) traffic overview. No this is not the whole picture but can give an idea about the amount of traffic exchanged innside Norway. Looking at the yearly graph the development in National traffic seem to have flattened out when it comes to growth.
If we take a short look at the largest Internet Exchange in the Nordics Netnod it seems they have growth but maybe not at the same scale as earlier.
What might this development be about? I have some ideas but they all point in the same direction….. guess? 😉
