There is a debate ongoing in several countries around the world about general monitoring of digital network traffic. This great article covering howe some countries work cross physical borders makes one ask some questions about in country debates. In Norway there has been done a lot of work on this topic that I have covered in an other post but in perspective on the debate that has been going on in Norway, I just need to point at the first article so to make a point that the debate need to take into account the bigger picture.
My point in all this is that if we are to have services that should be able to take a closer look at the bigger picture I guess it is easier to not have to call the “next door” country to get the insight needed on fellow citizens. How it can be done? I have some ideas but first of all the “experts” need to take into account the bigger picture…
